Engineering Technician

Job Description: Responsibilities: Assist engineers with pile testing instrumentation setup. Perform field monitoring during pile driving operations. Install and operate Pile Driving Analyzer (PDA) instrumentation. Conduct integrity testing including: Crosshole Sonic Logging (CSL) Thermal Integrity Profiling (TIP) Pile Integrity Testing (PIT) Attach instrumentation for static load tests and bi-directional load tests. Field documentation Adhere to strict safety standards Skills/Requirements: High school diploma / GED or 2 years of Construction Field Experience. College coursework in engineering is a plus. Fluent in English (written and spoken) required. Interest or experience in deep foundation testing/construction. Ability to work in outdoor construction environments 80 90% of the time. Willingness to travel frequently to construction sites across the U.S. and sometimes offshore and work independently. Ability to lift, carry, and handle up to 50 lbs as part of normal job duties.
