At Uptime Crew, the role of Engineering Manager is a bridge between recruiting and training teams. The Engineering Manager is an integral partner in the Training Organization by implementing and executing training activities; and building employee expertise while ensuring they have great experience during their selection process and training.
Responsibilities Include
Engineering Management & Leadership
Directly lead, coach, and manage multiple software engineering teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
- Serve as the first-line manager, managing team schedules and performance.
- Define high engineering standards, best practices, architecture, and design patterns for team adherence and quality assurance.
- Provide in-depth technical feedback on tech stacks, integration, and design patterns to accelerate candidate development without contributing code to the codebase.
