Responsibilities of a site engineer differ from project to project. It depends on factors such as project cost, location, project type, etc. Generally, a site engineer has the following job responsibilities:
- Site Supervision
- This is the main responsibility of a site engineer which includes monitoring construction progress and quality of work to ensure it complies with designs and specifications. Ensure that construction activities are conducted according to the schedule and within the project's scope.
- Technical Advice Provide technical support to construction teams, helping solve engineering-related problems on site. Interpret architectural and engineering drawings and provide clarity to contractors and workers when needed.
