Engineer, Senior Staff - Linux System Stability

Job Summary

This is a leadership role for Linux system stability. Contribute to the stability team in debugging Linux Kernel and System level issues for Qualcomm chipsets. Consolidate and represent team analysis in core forums. Manage and guide junior engineers in the team on the approach for analyzing complex issues.

Required Skills

• Excellent debug skills, especially in the core kernel software stability domain
• Excellent knowledge of ARM architecture: v7, v8, v9, exception models, privilege levels (EL0-EL3), MMU / memory translation, SMP
• Excellent knowledge of Linux kernel: internals, device driver model, memory management, kernel crash debugging, watchdog & hang debugging
• Expert level knowledge of C
• Experience of using debug tools such as JTAG
• Prior experience with Android is a plus
