Job Description

The Product/FA Engineer is the overall architect of the manufacturing workflow for HDD Electronics. Responsible for designing, implementing, and controlling the systems used to assemble, test, and integrate electronics into HDD products. They are also responsible for monitoring operations and troubleshooting issues that arise during production as well as supporting continuously improving PCBA yield and reducing costs.

Broad Functions

Supporting new product introduction related to PCBA during development build, transition to Low and High-Volume Manufacturing (LVM / HVM) for mass production (sustaining phase) until End of Life (EOL).

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Supporting new product introduction functions:
  • Ensure a timely build and efficient transition of development PCBAs to EMS and factory until the program is EOL
