Engineer, Application Support

Summary

Provide application support to customers who have a critical application and require Rockwell Automation to expand their expertise or completely take on support of their application. Respond to situations where first‑line product support has not isolated or fixed the malfunctioning equipment, their application or software.

Your Responsibilities

• Report design, reliability and maintenance problems or bugs to design engineering/software engineering.
• May involve customers in installation and training; may involve some small application design, testing and installation.
• Travel to the customer site for contract initiation/startup and to gain knowledge on the customer’s application in preparation for supporting the customer.
• Participate in on‑site annual update meetings to recap the previous year’s technical challenges and help present the value our services bring to the customer.
