Job Responsibilities:
- Review inpatient medical records for accuracy and completeness
- Ensure proper clinical documentation to support coding and billing
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to clarify diagnoses
- Identify gaps in documentation and provide recommendations
- Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and regulatory standards
- Support accurate DRG assignment and reimbursement processes
- Maintain quality and productivity standards
Qualifications:
- Certified through AAPC or AHIMA (CPC, CCS, CIC)
