Job Description
- Install, assemble, and maintain solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on residential, commercial, or industrial sites
- Read and interpret electrical plans, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications
- Mount solar panels, inverters, and other system components according to design and safety standards
- Perform electrical wiring, connections, and terminations for solar systems (AC and DC)
- Ensure proper grounding and bonding of all electrical equipment
- Test solar systems for performance, safety, and functionality before commissioning
- Troubleshoot and repair system issues, including electrical faults and equipment failures
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of installed solar systems
- Comply with local electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards
- Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and other team members during installation
