Overview

The primary role of the Team Lead is to perform duties as required by a department head and/or Supervisor, to coordinateassembly and fabrication of productsfora small group of employees.The Lead designation is that of a “working lead”,wherethe majority ofthe employee’stime is hands on asa functioning team member.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Ensurecrew isarriving on time, ready and fit for duty at the start of each shift.
• Host a morning meeting with crew atstartof shift to delegate work for the day.
• Review any job-related issues or safety concerns.
• Ensure workers have proper material and tools to complete daily tasks.
• Trains new workers on methods and procedures specific to the area of expertise.
• Familiarize self with and/or request training concerning new equipment.
• Establish methods with workers to meet work schedule deadlines.
