Role Summary
The Electrical Foreman is responsible for coordinating, scheduling, and overseeing workflow within the assigned project crew while managing the day-to-day operations of the job site. In addition to supervisory responsibilities, the Foreman performs the duties of a licensed 309A Electrician, including the layout, installation, testing, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
309A Electrician Responsibilities
- Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams, and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts for new or existing installations.
- Splice, join, and connect wires to fixtures and components to form circuits.
- Pull wires through conduits and openings in walls and floors.
- Install brackets, hangers, lighting fixtures, switches, relays, circuit breaker panels, and other electrical control and distribution equipment.
