Electrical - Field Engineer -Controls

Responsibilities

• Design and creation of PLC logic including hardware selection
• Design and creation of HMI displays including hardware selection
• Programming and selection of drives and other control components
• Some SCADA and DCS programming and support
• Design hardwire electrical circuits including
  • Load calculations
  • Component sizing & selection
• Produce electrical schematics
• Work in conjunction with panel shop on panel layout and design
• Work with the design group to conceptualize builds for proposals
• Technical support for field technicians
• Assist with internal IT initiatives
• Prepare project documentation including
  • Operations manuals
  • Project bid documents
• Prepare and submit documentation for permits
