About the Role
Advatech Pacific is currently seeking an Electrical Engineer for Component Obsolescence Management The primary focus will be on qualifying alternate parts, Design, Testing and Failure Analysis. This position may work independently for formulate potential solutions to given component issues, assembly problems or changes to facilitate manufacturing.
Primary Responsibilities/Skills include:
+ General motor controller and temperature controller understanding.
+ High-reliability electronics design/analysis awareness: derating, thermal margins, worst-case analysis, tolerance stack-ups, datasheet comparisons
+ Aerospace environmental / safety conscience: DO-160, AC.25-981C, vibration/shock, altitude, humidity, salt fog (as applicable), temperature and
thermal analysis, understanding of connector/cabling/hardware considerations, system safety, explosion proof design, intrinsic safety.
+ Power quality & protection: surge/transient handling, inrush limiting, circuit li...
