About the Role

SUMMARY
The Lead Protection and Control Engineer position is a contract responsible for delivering advanced engineering and consulting services across transmission, distribution, and industrial power systems throughout North America. Reporting to the Regional Protection and Control Engineering Manager, this role is a key contributor within the Projects and Services execution team. This position involves the full lifecycle of protection and control applications, including design, programming, testing, and commissioning for power system and substation automation projects. Travel up to 25% is required.

QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in power system studies and analysis
- Electrical or Computer Engineering Bachelor's degree or higher - with a focus on power systems
- Protection theory, fault analysis, and symmetrical components knowledge required
- Power system analysis tools experience such as ASPEN, ETAP, SKM, CAPE, MATLAB, Mathcad, or CDEGS
