Electrical Engineer

Job Overview

Research, design, develop, test and/or supervise the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems within the commercial, grain and lime mine environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, manage & coordinate all electrical projects
• Maintain electrical operational efficiency of silos, commercial buildings and infrastructure
• Develop probable electrical cost estimates for projects
• Conduct electrical audits
• Coordinate work with other disciplines such as architectural, mechanical, electrical, Quantity Surveyor, MIE, etc.

Requirements

Experience: Should preferably have commercial or mining experience. SCADA and PLC experience would be advantageous, as well as plant maintenance.

Qualifications

B.Eng degree (Electrical) Member of the South African Institute of Electrical Engineers (SAIEE)
