Electrical Designer Co-op|Mining & Metals

Our Mining Division in Eastern Canada is growing, and we are currently recruiting for a Electrical Designer co-op to join our team in the Burlington office. This will be a fall term co-op.

About The Role

• Provides basic drawings and design suggestions under the guidance of a more senior designer or engineer.
• Complies with Ausenco or Client specific drawing specifications and Document Control procedures.
• Involved in the preparation of drawings and utilization of CAD aided design software for the creation of Electrical design of single line diagrams, motor schematics and wiring, General Arrangement, distribution panels, grounding, lighting, and cable tray.
• Involved in the preparation of drawings and utilization of CAD aided design software for the creation of Instrumentation and Controls design of Loop drawings, PLC and DCS wiring, Panel layout and instrument General Arrangement.
