Title: Part-Time Elder Care Companion / Home Support – Cambridge, ON
Description:
I am looking for a kind, patient, and friendly caregiver to support my 82-year-old father in Cambridge, Ontario. This role is about more than just helping with tasks, it’s about providing companionship, conversation, and a caring presence. We are also seeking someone who can also take care of cleaning, including laundry, dishes, bathrooms, beds and floors (sweep and wash). He is able to do everything on his own but I want him to have the help anyway at this age.
Responsibilities:
Cooking nutritious meals
Housekeeping, including bathrooms, floors and laundry
Running errands and assisting with appointments
Reminding him about medications
Conversation and companionship
Help him with his garden in the summer
He loves speaking Spanish, German or Turkish, even though he is fluent in English. So it's a great opportunity to practice another language if you have some foundatoin...
