EHS Specialist (Nuclear Fuel Assembly)

Our Role

The EHS Specialist will provide direction and assistance to the Nuclear Fuel Assembly Operations and support the overall site in order to meet environmental, health, safety and regulatory objectives.

Your Day To Day

• Develop and implement the facility’s environmental programs (air, water, waste) ensuring compliance with environmental policies and procedures.
• Develop and implement the facility’s radiation protection and industrial hygiene programs ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Coordinate the functions of the As‑Low‑as‑Reasonably‑Achievable (ALARA) Committee and Beryllium Committee.
• Maintain employee Nuclear Energy Worker and Beryllium Worker classification information, liaise with Occupational Health Services in arranging employee medicals and follow‑ups.
• Produce the annual compliance reports required under the CNSC site license.
