DSS Resident Engineer- (IT Engineer)

What Success Looks Like In This Role

Key Responsibilities

End-User Support

• Provide deskside support for critical and high‑priority users
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and OS issues across Windows, macOS (Apple products), and Linux
• Assist with onboarding by setting up equipment and accounts for new employees

Hardware & Asset Management

• Assemble and configure workstations (PCs, laptops, monitors)
• Perform physical repairs (RAM, SSD, battery replacements)
• Manage IT asset inventory and stock levels
• Set up and maintain office peripherals (printers, docking stations, monitors, etc.)

AV & Meeting Room Technology

• Support and troubleshoot meeting room audio‑visual equipment, including Crestron systems

Tools & Compliance

• Use JAMF, Intune, and ServiceNow for device management and ticketing
