Driver Examiner 2 - Downsview- Full Time - Term- Non Bilingual

Summary / Purpose

This position requires passing a Criminal Record Check (CPIC) and Fingerprint Criminal Record Check.

Starting hourly rate: $27.43.
Evaluate the driving ability of applicants at various license levels (G2, G, M2, M, controlled class) and provide examination results, assisting applicants in the driver’s licensing process.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service during all Driver Examination services.
• Respond to enrolments and enquiries related to driver licensing, determining applicant status and explaining test/re-test procedures.
• Complete verbal verification of applicant’s full name and date of birth.
• Conduct road tests, noting compliance with traffic laws, safe driving practices and handling of stressful situations.
• Provide detailed examination results, error analysis and improvement recommendations.
