The Die Setter is responsible for installing, aligning, and maintaining dies in stamping presses or other machinery to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality production.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Set up and install dies in presses according to job specifications
+ Align and secure dies using precision measuring tools
+ Perform changeovers quickly to minimize downtime
+ Adjust press settings (pressure, stroke, speed) for optimal performance
+ Inspect parts during setup to ensure quality standards are met
+ Troubleshoot die or press issues during production
