About the Role
We are searching for an experienced DevOps engineer to join our project in the banking industry. This role is 80% in software engineering and 20% operations. More details will be shared once contacted. Requirements:
Relevant university degree (Computer Science/Engineering). 6 years of commercial software development experience using Unix and Windows 6 years of development experience in Python, with experience in Java and Pel an advantage Experience in Application containerisation (e.g. Openshift). Knowledge in CICD. Experience in Linux and Shell Scripting Solid knowledge of SQL, ideally with DB2 and PostgreSQL. Experience with GIT, Jira, Jenkins and BitBucket. Experience with Scrum preferred. Knowledge in Microservices, Kafka and/or AWS preferred. Fluent in English, both written and spoken, and good presentation skills. Experience in finance industry such as stock broking or wholesale finance is preferred.
