DevOps Engineer / IT Infrastructure

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud engineering, or DevOps roles
• Strong working knowledge of at least one major cloud provider — AWS or Azure (certifications advantageous)
• Hands‑on experience with Terraform and/or Ansible for infrastructure-as-code and configuration management
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix system administration (RHEL or SLES preferred)
• Production experience with Kubernetes and Docker
• Scripting ability in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Sound understanding of networking fundamentals — DNS, load balancing, VPNs, and firewalls
• Exposure to Zero Trust security architecture and security‑by‑design principles is advantageous
• Relevant cloud or DevOps certifications (AWS, Azure, CKA) are a strong advantage
• South African citizen or permanent resident with valid right to work in South Africa
