About the Role
In this role, you willcontribute to drivinggeospatial data and tooling needs for a large-scale project. You will be part of a team of GISdevelopers responsible for sourcinggeospatial datain many modalities,andforbuildinggeospatial dataautomation and tooling in an AI/ML pipeline for new applications.
In this role,you’llresearch andgather datafor specific regionsfromdifferent sources, including imagery and other raster data, vector data, and point clouds. You will find andacquiredata from free/public domainsources,andparticipate inpartnerships with commercial data providers. You willassistinmanagingthe coverage, freshness, quality, and costof the sourced data.The most successfulteam memberswill have a working knowledge ofdisparate effective sources of data, and a curiosity for finding new ones.
