About the Role
Development Lead:
- Fixed term 12 months contract with chances of extension
- Based in Perth
- Experience with React / TypeScript, Python
We are seeking an experienced Development Lead who has experience with people and delivery leader rather than a deep hands on technical specialist (although a solid technical background is still important).
Key responsibilities:
- Primary value is people leadership, delivery oversight, and BAU stability
- Leading an established internal team during a period of business focus elsewhere
- Run effective agile ceremonies and work with product teams closely to transform requirements to JIRA user stories for tech teams.
- Tech stack is modern but stable: React / TypeScript, Python, Sanity CMS, hosted on AWS
- Limited greenfield work - focus is on reliability, prioritisation, and risk management
