Development Engineer

Public Sector People are working with a local council to recruit a Development Engineers for a 3 month temporary contract assignment.

As a Development Engineer your role will involve responding promptly to development engineering inquiries, participating in collaborative meetings with internal and external stakeholders and conducting assessments of plans and applications, including Environmental Management Plans, Build over Easement, and Flood Certificate applications.

The successful candidate will ideally have planning referral experience and can respond to development planning applications from a drainage perspective.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide expert oversight of the checking of Engineering Plans; Environmental Management Plans; Traffic Management Plans; Street Lighting Plans; and assessment of traffic, drainage and subdivision referrals for planning and development applications.
