Design Engineer

Position Objective

To fully develop mechanical designs from concept to production, ensuring functionality, manufacturability, and compliance with industry standards.
This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment and shall ensure:

• Product safety standards and requirements are followed
• Design quality requirements are met

Key Responsibilities

• Develop 3D CAD models, 2D drawings and FEA analysis for tailormade lifting equipment for multiple industry segments (incl. renewables – e.g. Wind).
• Perform tolerance stack-up analysis and define dimensional tolerances according to ISO standards.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and drafters to ensure design intent and manufacturability.
• Support DFMEA and risk analysis activities during the design phase.
