About the Role
Responsibilities
- Design WSC (Water Steam cycle), select plant configuration and main equipment such as boiler, steam turbine, condenser (Thermal plant) and GT, HRSG, STG and condenser in case of CCPP
- Prepare Heat and Mass balance diagrams (HMBD) and Water Balance Diagrams (WBD)
- Prepare PFDs and P&IDs including KKS numbering
- Provide process inputs to piping and I&C
- Perform calculations involving sizing of equipment, pressure drop calculations, heat rate calculations and other required process calculations
- Prepare Design Manual, System description and control philosophy document
- Prepare plant start- up curves and plant operation philosophy
- Prepare technical specifications, evaluate vendor offers and select vendors for GT, HRSG, STG, Condenser for CCPP
