Design Engineer

**Job Description:**

**Key Responsibilities**

+ Lead draughting and development activities for new drilling product development
+ Develop and facilitate the delivery of engineering designs for drill rigs and auxiliary equipment, ensuring alignment with new technologies, safety standards, and best practices.
+ Document designs, including 3D modeling, manufacturing drawings, process specifications and risk assessments.
+ Undertake engineering calculations and design analysis to ensure design integrity and performance.
+ Develop engineering scopes and specification documents for new product designs.
+ Challenge the status quo to drive continuous improvement in equipment, products, and processes used in the field.
+ Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including peer engineers, operational personnel, maintenance teams, sourcing, suppliers, and product line managers.
