Design Engineer (Chassis & Engine Systems) - On-site CDMX

YOUR ROLE

• Support the design and development of Chassis & Engine Systems components, by analyzing technical specifications, engineering drawings, CAD data, and Bills of Material (BOM) throughout the vehicle development lifecycle
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support RFQs, engineering changes, technical reviews, and benchmarking activities for chassis and engine‑related commodities.
• Develop basic to intermediate costing and “Should Cost” analyses, evaluating the cost impact of design decisions, materials, and manufacturing processes, and supporting cost optimization initiatives.
• Provide technical and cost‑related input to support supplier negotiations, cost gap analysis, and commodity strategies using internal costing methodologies and databases.
