Design Automation Engineer (Mechanical)

Role and Responsibilities

1. Develop and maintain integrated CAD Automation of new and existing standard products and accessories.
2. CAD automation shall deliver drawings and data to meet the need of customers and Manufacturing, considering global requirements.
3. Conduct value analysis and design validation of standard products, collaborating with other departments as necessary.
4. Build automated CAD processes to deliver, digitally, customer and manufacturing drawings and data for cost effective standard configurable fans and accessories.
5. Document design definition and validation for any new or re-evaluated standard designs.
   • Document design intent/rules used in CAD automation of a fan design.
   • Maintain revision/version control of all current CAD automation.
6. Conduct continuous improvement of current illogic driven models.
