About the Role
Job Description
- Review and approve purchase orders, contracts and project specifications.
- Provide project master schedule and oversee progress against the baseline master schedule.
- Initiate and obtain approval on variation orders from client on scope changes.
- Finalize sub-contracts for fabrication / major equipment etc., negotiate price, schedule & monitor the cost and change orders due to changes initiated by either client or engineering.
- Take full responsibility for project cost control. Review project cost reports monthly and keep track of change orders and deviations.
- Generate progress reports for submission to management and clients.
- Organize monthly meetings with senior management to review all project activities.
- Formalize discussion with Estimating Manager if project cost exceeds the budget.
