Deputy General Manager - EHS

Summary

This position is responsible for leading and driving KMT’s EHS strategy, culture and compliance for the Bangalore KIL manufacturing facility. The Deputy General Manager will lead and drive EHS performance, compliance, develop and implement systems and standards across the KIL business. Additionally, this position will directly supervise a team of 3 EHS professionals at the site.

Key Job Responsibilities:

•Lead the global Environmental Health and Safety strategy for KIL and develop and execute implementation plans aligned with KMT strategic objectives. 
•Implement sustainability of EHS management systems, regulatory programs, and processes to support EHS compliance and management systems.
•Lead Kennametal’s Fatality and Serious injury (FSI) prevention strategy by managing and implementing processes to recognize, identify and control critical hazards and risks (lock, tag verify, Powered industrial vehicles, cranes, machine g...
