The role of the School Chef
- Planning, preparing and cooking balanced meals in line with school dietary guidelines
- Managing kitchen operations including food ordering, stock control and hygiene standards
- Leading and supporting kitchen assistants to ensure smooth service
- Maintaining a clean, safe and compliant kitchen environment
- Catering for special dietary requirements and allergens
