DB Migration Administrator (MSSQL to Postgres Migration)

Mactores is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Database Developer to lead and execute the migration project from MS SQL Server to PostgreSQL. The ideal candidate will lead hands-on execution of migrating database objects such as tables, stored procedures, functions, and views from MS SQL Server to PostgreSQL. The candidate will also be responsible for migrating the SQL statements within the application code to facilitate the migration.

What you will do?

• Migrate essential database components, including but not limited to tables, stored procedures, functions, and views from MS SQL Server to PostgreSQL.
• Validate and ensure the migrated objects function as intended in the PostgreSQL environment.
• Evaluate existing application codebase to identify SQL statements that interact with the MS SQL Server.
• Modify and adapt SQL statements within the application code to align with PostgreSQL syntax and functionalities.
