About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced NoSQL Database Engineer to join our data infrastructure team. This role requires deep expertise in NoSQL technologies, scripting, cloud platforms, and DevOps tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and optimizing distributed database systems, with a focus on Configuration Management, performance, scalability, and reliability.
Role Objectives:
" Design, implement, and maintain NoSQL database solutions including Cassandra and Postgres. MongoDB is a plus.
" Cassandra Cluster Administration
Install, configure, and upgrade Cassandra clusters
Manage nodes (add/remove nodes, decommissioning, replacements)
Perform rolling restarts and version upgrades with minimal downtime
