About the Role
Position Objective
Owns the end-to-end migration of data from legacy systems into the target platform. Responsible for designing, building and executing scalable migration pipelines while ensuring data integrity, auditability and business continuity.
Key Responsibilities
- Own full lifecycle of data migration (analysis, mapping, transformation, validation, cutover)
- Design and build pipelines using Azure Data Factory
- Develop transformation logic using Python / PySpark
- Perform data profiling, cleansing and mapping across systems
- Implement validation, reconciliation and audit processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve migration issues
- Work with business and technical teams to define migration rules
- Document migration logic, mappings and processes
- Support migration planning, sequencing and cutover strategy
