Insight Global is seeking a talented and dedicated data center technician to work for one of our largest technology clients in Red Oak, TX. This is an exciting role for those looking to gain fundamental experience within the IT world. We are seeking candidates with a background in logistics, warehousing, IT Support, Cabling, and/or heavy machinery. This client will be providing training to ensure employees are comfortable and confident on the job. This technician prepares, stages, sets up, and performs startups and shutdowns (e.g., racks, hard drives, switches) according to specific instructions, checklists, guides, standard protocols, and emails. Performs post-execution quality checks and verifies that grounding, staging, labeling, and cabling are set up properly according to safety protocols, deployment standards, and planned Network Design Tasks (NDTs).
