About the Role
Description
We are currently expanding our infrastructure management team and are looking for proven technology managers with experience in people management, strong technical understanding and the drive and vision to take Amazon.com Data Center Operations to the next level. The successful candidate will have experience managing people with varying skillsets, devising strategies, mentoring people in all levels, sponsoring projects, and proposing technical solutions.
The successful candidate will be operationally responsible for several of Amazon.com's Data Centers during the Overnight Shift (9pm - 7am).
This role supports data centers in various operational stages. The position may be assigned to a facility still under development, which could require travel to established locations for training until your designated site becomes fully operational. Candidates must be able to travel (over 50 miles) or commute (less than 50 miles) to active data center sites as req...
