About the Role
- Delivering a design package to the data hall build team including:
- implementation script for data hall fit-out
- port mapping
- physical inventory of network equipment
- prepare and deliver appropriate CAD designs
- Work-product customers: 70% IT / 30% construction team
- Review CAD drawing provided by the building/colocation facility owner
- Review BIM model: detailed 3D digital twin, integrating structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems
- Interpret a network design and translate that into physical inventory list of network equipment and infrastructure
- Interpret building CAD/floor plan and overlay rack layout
- Analyze cable/conduit fill-ratio, evaluate secure duct and conduit availability for capacity and conflicts
