JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (SUMMARY):

• Take ownership of products and product designs, by ensuring that the products meet the specified requirements according to national and international standards.
• Specify and develop new test methods for designed products, not just interpreting specifications or following what is specified.
• Manage output of design department by ensuring that enquiries are analysed and verified and by developing a program or plan to ensure timely completion of enquiries.
• Assist with designing products to meet the specified requirements according to national and international standards.
• Specifying tests and test methods for the designed products.
• Ensuring enquiries are analysed and a programme is developed to ensure timeous completion of enquiries.
