Cybersecurity Engineer

Overview
We're looking for a hands-on Cyber Security Engineer to join NOV's Security Architecture & Engineering team.
You'll help secure NOV using our zero trust methodology designing and deploying technical controls, automating protection at scale, and supporting secure architecture across IT and OT environments.
This is a role for engineers who want to build, automate, and improve—not just monitor.

What You'll Do
Use AI/ML or LLM-based tools to accelerate detection, enrich investigations, and support real-time response automation
Automate tasks using PowerShell, Python, or Bash to reduce manual workflows and improve enforcement
Deploy and manage security tools or policies across identity, cloud, endpoint, and network with platforms like Okta, SentinelOne, and Zscaler
