Cost & Inventory Coordinator - Assembly

Job Responsibilities

• Standard cost development (Model Year) for Mexico Assembly Plants.
• Update and determine material costs within the Model Year according to the corporate requirements and internal controls (SOX).
• Analyze the root cause of variances, including material usage, direct labor, overhead spend and volume, and work with colleagues to correct issues as they arise.
• Perform Product Cost Study (PCS) activities for Mexico Assembly plants.
• Process improvement initiatives: process definition, accounting and reporting metrics, new product releases, inventory controls, BOMs and routings, budgeting and forecasting, cycle count program and metrics.
• Prepare and analyze reports of standard/actual costing, budget variances, product profitability, key performance metrics.
• Ensure bill of material standard costs are accurate. Provide support of monthly financial processes and reporting.
