About the Role
Applications Manager
The Applications Manager is responsible for ensuring continuity and guaranteeing the quality of the Applications, as well as managing the Application system maintenance activities, which include:
- Ensuring the proper functioning of applications and that they can be maintained and upgraded
- Proposing methods to increase optimization and efficiency, to enable technical upgrades of the applications
- Applying the guidelines of the obsolescence management plan
- Deploying the continuity of service action plan, including Disaster Recovery and Live Play
In a nutshell, this position serves as a Technical Delivery role . The Applications Manager must have a strong Technical background in Security/Risks, Applications Obsolescence topics, with good documentation, communications and coordination skills, and experience in a Core Banking environment .
