Controls Engineer

Job Summary

Act as the company liaison and technical support for Grid Technologys relay controls and automation, SCADA integration, and circuit protection logic. Serve as the analytics liaison between engineering and data analytics teams, translating technical requirements into data-driven insights and solutions. Project areas may include advanced distribution management system (ADMS), fault location isolation and service restoration systems (FLISR), invertor-based resource (IBR) protection, and volt-var optimization projects. The job will include working with controls for reclosers, capacitors, voltage regulators, switchgear, and any other microprocessor-based utility controls. This role will work out of Entergys state of the art Grid Technology Lab in New Orleans, LA with a technical team of engineers and analysts.
