About the Role
Howmet Fastening Systems (HFS) is seeking a Controls Engineer in our Fullerton, CA location.
The person in this position will be part of the Machine building team that is responsible for design and manufacturing of new and rebuilt machines to support HFS facilities worldwide. This group is responsible for the implementation of projects to upgrade existing equipment and systems, coordinates and supports custom machine building projects and assists in the selection, procurement and installation of our new custom equipment to support HFS manufacturing process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Design, develop, manage and maintain control systems (i.e. Distributed Control System, Programmable Logic Controller). Perform all work and conduct oneself in a manner that promotes safety of the individual and all other employees.
