The Role
Our client is a non‑for‑profit organization located in the Tri‑City area who is seeking an experienced Controller. In this role, the successful candidate will lead a small finance team, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, be responsible for the management and oversight of all financial functions for a large, multi‑faceted community services organization. Areas of responsibility include: general finance and accounting, payroll, budgeting and financial analysis, risk management and compliance, and strategic leadership. This is a hands‑on, purpose driven, people‑oriented leadership role. The role reports into the Administration Executive.
Key Accountabilities
General Finance and Accounting
- Oversee the accounting department to ensure proper execution of all accounting systems and functions, including internal controls, financial policies and procedures.
- Oversee accounts payables/receivables functions.
