About the Role
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual laboratory analysis on wastewater and crude oil samples
- Ensure all testing is conducted accurately and in accordance with laboratory procedures and quality standards.
- Handle various water and wastewater samples, including sour water
- Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including protective masks, will be provided.
- Independently manage the day-to-day operations of a small laboratory.
- Oversee laboratory chemical and consumable inventory, including purchasing, stock monitoring, and replenishment.
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness, housekeeping, and equipment organisation.
- Ensure laboratory Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety standards are kept up to date and consistently followed by all laboratory users.
