Enhance hog production at Canada Packers by driving initiatives that focus on continuous improvement and efficiency. This role is hands-on, requiring regular barn engagement to support team initiatives.
The Production Innovation & Continuous Improvement Specialist collaborates with Senior Hog Production Managers to recognize and implement critical cost-saving measures. You will actively engage with barn teams, spending significant time onsite to coach and uphold the success of projects. This position is central to evolving operational practices within the hog production system.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and analyze improvement opportunities in operations
• Create business cases to support proposed projects
• Design and conduct trials in barn settings
• Facilitate the swift execution of initiatives
• Provide “Hypercare” support post-implementation to ensure results
