CONSTRUCTION / MINING INDUSTRY ACCOUNTANT - Midrand

Accountant Position

Well established international concern that supplies machinery for the Mining and Construction industry has a position available for an Accountant.

Qualifications and Experience

1. BCom Accounting Degree
2. 3 – 4 years experience in a similar environment (construction and mining companies)
3. Deal with both Namibian and South African subsidiaries (Accounting and Financials)
4. SAP B1 experience
5. Sound knowledge of IFRS

Duties

1. Responsible for the full accounting function
2. Trial Balance
3. Compile management statement weekly
4. Responsible for cashbook, debtors, creditors, costing and revenue analysis
5. Subcontractors reconciliations
6. Payment of creditors and salaries
7. Depreciation of assets
8. Reconciliations of VAT account and import VAT account
