Construction Inspector

Job Description As a Construction Inspector, you will perform general construction inspection tasks to verify compliance standards codes, and ordinances, zoning regulations, as well as contract plans, specifications, and special provisions. Projects will consist of bridges, roadways, and environmental components to these services. This position is available in the Northern Virginia, Richmond, Lynchburg, Christiansburg, and Hampton Roads areas of VA. Responsibilities Inspects and monitors construction sites and the various work activities on these sites to verify adherence to standards, codes, and specifications. Prepares daily reports documenting inspections and other relevant project information. Verifies lines and grades of project improvements.
